The Open University: strategy, evaluation and more

The Open University has a unique social mission to widen access and participation in education, reaching everyone with an ambition to learn, across a diverse range of audiences. 

The Nursery has been working with the Open University since 2016. We have completed major pieces of brand strategy research, including the largest qualitative project the OU has ever undertaken across multiple audiences including minority audiences, internal stakeholders, industry leaders and beneficiaries.

The Nursery has been the OU’s provider of quantitative brand tracking since 2020 this multi-study programme of research includes multiple audiences; current and potential students, alumni, staff and c-suite employers.

Working alongside Havas, OMD and the OU team we have helped launch a new visual identity, brand platform and multi-media advertising campaign.

In 2024 we were incredibly proud to be nominated by the OU in the ‘Trusted Partner’ category at the AURA awards.
