Six of the best. The Nursery nominated as finalist for the MRS’s Jeremy Bullmore award for sixth successive year

We are very pleased to be nominated not once but twice in the Jeremy Bullmore / Creative Development category for the MRS’ 2021 Excellence Awards. We have been nominated in partnership with the Direct Line Group for their on-going Churchill campaign, and with the ONS and M&C Saatchi for their work on the 2020 National Census.

This is the 6th year in succession that The Nursery has been nominated for the Bullmore award. We may have never actually won it (!!), but it’s an achievement that is unparalleled  and one of which we are extremely proud.

While the method of insight and data collection may have shifted over the last couple of years, our principles have not. This is not about testing creative to award a pass or fail, but it’s about uncovering the potential in ideas to inform successful execution. Our mission remains to be constructive, helpful and developmental.

CEO, one time ad-man and Nursery founder Peter Dann commented, “At a time when the need for creative development work can be questioned, we’ll continue to fly the flag for the value it brings to campaign effectiveness when it’s done properly. Of particular importance to us is being nominated alongside agencies and clients; this reflects that the best and most effective research comes when all parties work openly and co-operatively together. Our thanks, therefore, to our colleagues at Churchill and the ONS and their fantastic agencies”.

This year’s MRS Awards Ceremony takes place (virtually) on December 6th.
