Account Director, Public Sector
The Nursery Research & Planning are pioneers in brand and communications research. The majority of our research over our 21 years has been conducted for commercial clients and brand owners. However we have always maintained a presence in the government and public sector. We remain a preferred supplier on the government’s research framework and we have consistently won not for profit business – with extensive experience with armed services, smoking cessation, financial bodies (e.g. FSCS, FCA and FOS).
Job Role
- To provide focus for The Nursery’s Public Sector business internally and externally.
- To plan, direct and manage its growth from new and existing clients.
- To develop and market The Nursery offer to the public and social sectors.
- To manage, train and inspire existing researchers and hire new ones as required.
- To manage the procurement processes and ensure research systems and credentials are in place to qualify for politics and social work.
- To ensure compliance with relevant legislation and codes of practice.
- To build relationships with appropriate suppliers and partners who can provide specialist support where required (e.g. minority audiences), complementary agencies, consultants.
- To work with other senior researchers, research leads and account directors to share best practice and contribute to overall business success.
